In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) involves stimulating the ovaries to produce eggs, collecting those eggs, fertilising them with sperm in a laboratory, and transferring an embryo into the uterus.Professor Chapman’s view is that IVF should beonly  undertaken as the last step when other treatments have not been successful or when advanced fertility support is indicated.

Egg Freezing/ Fertility Preservation

Fertility preservation options are available for patients wishing to store eggs for future use. Egg freezing involves stimulating the ovaries, collecting eggs, and safely freezing them for later pregnancy attempts. This may be considered for medical, personal, or age-related fertility planning.
